Nothing is more frustrating than taking in a brand-new car for repairs. Typically, when you purchase a brand-new vehicle, you expect it to be high in quality with few problems. To ensure that your new car is the highest quality possible, then look no further than the Chevrolet lineup. In J.D. Power’s 2015 Initial Quality Study, four Chevrolet vehicles—the Spark, Malibu, Equinox, and Silverado—came out on top in quality.
The Initial Quality study “examines problems experienced by vehicle owners during the first 90 days of ownership.” It helps consumers know which vehicles are less likely to prove problematic in those first few months of ownership, allowing them to choose the best vehicle for them.
The Chevrolet Spark earned the top spot in the city car segment, while the Malibu was recognized in the midsize car class. For the Equinox, a tie in the compact SUV segment put it on top, while the Silverado LD took the large light duty pickup class by storm.
